  No matter where the guests come from or what their background is, they are usually surprised to hear "I've never seen anything like this before! Full of enthusiasm, they take in nature, the farm and the places and open their eyes to beauty.

  The hosts are grounded people who fell in love with Ausseerland many years ago. They proudly tell us that the forge came to them, not the other way around. When they work in the garden, they do it with joy - until they "drop".

  At the Schmiedgut, the guest is not king, but welcome. The hosts talk to their guests at eye level, like to get to know them better, share their experiences and give individual tips.

  There are many beautiful spots in Ausseerland, but: here, between orchards and meadows on a hill that offers a view of all the surrounding mountains, everyone has taken a deep breath and wanted to stay. Nature is so diverse here - every season has its advantages.
